Madikeri is a convenient reference point for a Coorg holiday, but a property described as “near Madikeri” may be outside the town centre. Wooden Pearl Homestay is at 1st Monnangeri Village, Galibeedu Post. Here is how to plan your arrival and make the most of a stay in this part of Kodagu.
Save the exact address and map pin
Wooden Pearl Homestay: #262, Dwaraka Nivas, Police Fire Range Road, 1st Monnangeri Village, Galibeedu Post, Madikeri, Kodagu, Karnataka 571202. Open the map from our contact page before starting the final part of your journey.
Keep +91 95919 94567 or +91 88675 36838 available in case you need directions. Share your estimated arrival time, particularly for a late check-in. Confirm any early-arrival request in advance rather than assuming a room will be ready.
Plan transport for your stay
If you are driving, ask about the approach and parking for your vehicle. If arriving in Madikeri by public transport, arrange the onward journey before you get there. Do not assume a pickup or sightseeing vehicle is included in the room rate; ask about availability and costs separately.
Allow flexible journey times on hill roads. During heavy rain or fog, a shorter day out can be more comfortable than a tightly timed circuit.
Build a Madikeri town outing
Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwara Temple and Raja’s Tomb offer different perspectives on the town’s history. Raja’s Seat adds a garden and viewpoint stop when conditions are suitable. Check access arrangements for each place on the day.
Choose separate time for destinations farther across Kodagu. Our nearby places directory links to individual guides so you can organise stops by route.
Confirm the essentials before paying
Review the room options and ask for a quote covering your full guest count. Confirm meals, taxes, children’s charges, check-in and check-out times, and the cancellation terms for your chosen rate. Discuss any mobility or dietary needs before finalising the reservation.
